Personal Accident and Sickness Insurance policies can be tailored to your specific needs. Covers can include lump sum benefits due to death or permanent disability from accidental injury and weekly benefits for temporary disablement due to accident, injury or sickness.
Cover is generally offered as 24 hour worldwide however you can be insured for working hours only or outside working hours only. Weekly benefit periods will pay up to 52 or 104 weeks after the accident or sickness. Longer benefit periods are available with some insurers. Options can be discussed dependant on your needs.
Insurable limits can be tailored for you within a policy and can include some or all the following: Accidental death, Permanent disability due to accident, Broken bones due to accident, Weekly Benefits payment for temporary total disablement, Weekly Benefits payment for temporary partial disablement.
Premiums can be cost effective with waiting periods applied to the weekly benefits covers – similar to having an excess – before a claim starts being paid. Our friendly staff will be able to assist you with cover options ensuring you have the correct cover with a reputable insurer.
