The Key points to remember are:
There are 3 methods that you can use to claim:
1. ATO have announced a "Short Cut Method", it is only available from 1st March, 2020 and you can claim a blanket rate of 80cents per hours that you have worked from home.
2. You can use the old method of 52cents per hour and separately claim the work portion of your mobile, internet and stationary etc
3. You can calculate the actual cost, and this approach will be different again if your home is also your place of business.
